The Air Jordan 9 Statue isn't the only retro colorway coming for Michael Jordan's ninth signature sneaker this year.

Also on the way is this anthracite version of the shoe, which seems to be without a theme. While there doesn't appear to be a particular story attached, the sneaker definitely has some overlap with a previous pair of Jordan 9s: the Oregon one that UO football players received ahead of the 2011 BCS National Championship Game.

The Jordan release date for this Anthracite Air Jordan 9 is set for September 5.
